We are less than three weeks away from our National Professional Development Conference! We have over 60 registrants who are looking forward to energizing, engaging and empowering with us.
Your Conference Committee has been hard at work, planning an amazing speaker lineup. We have a diverse group of talented speakers joining us this year. We’d like to thank them for sharing their time and expertise with us. Topics range from leading change, diversity & inclusion, personal branding and many more. This conference is designed to grow attendees in a multitude of ways.
We have also been hard at work coordinating details with the venue. We’re selecting menus, making sure the space suits our needs and more. In addition to the educational aspects, we’ve built in plenty of time for networking. You can connect with AWCers from all over the country.
For chapter leaders, there’s two additional built in opportunities. This begins at 3pm on Sunday at the Communicating for Leadership Success session. There’s also the Presidents’ Breakfast the following more. Your National Board wants to hear from local chapter leadership, to learn how it can better connect at the local level.
The excitement surrounding the numerous awards that will be presented is starting to build! We’d like to congratulate our Headliner, International Matrix, Clarion, Chapter and Star Award Winners! Many of the recipients are joining us for the conference this year.
Sponsorship opportunities are still available. We’re hopeful to earn additional sponsors between now and the conference. This is a great chance to get in front of a group of female decision-makers. Take a minute to think about your chapter…is sponsoring the conference a good fit for anyone? We’ve had several consultants and B2B companies express interest.

For those already registered, we so look forward to hosting you! We have spent hours preparing what we feel you will find an incredibly valuable day and a half. Not to mention, the conference is located on the Missouri River in beautiful St. Charles, Missouri. Bring a stack of business cards and get ready to take plenty of notes on the programming. Don’t forget your formal attire for the Clarion Awards Dinner.

Jacqueline Post is the Senior Vice President of Marketing, Jacqueline leads the marketing team at BluCurrent in Springfield, MO. She has been with BluCurrent for almost five years. She earned an undergraduate degree and MBA from Missouri State University in 2014, and went on to earn her Computer Information Systems Certificate in 2016. She currently serves as Co-President of the Association for Women in Communication, Springfield, MO and a Director at Habitat for Humanity, among other roles. She specializes in strategic planning, branding, digital marketing, event planning and community outreach.
