In 2014, Guerrero received a Clarion Award for her report on “Justice for Baby Alissa” in the “Best National News” category and in 2015, Guerrero received a Clarion Award for her report “Turning Tables on Cat Callers.” In 2016, her “Wolf of Boca” investigation, which looked at the life of Daniel Porush who once scammed investors for millions of dollars, and her series of reports on “Justice for Juliette,” which helped lead to the capture and conviction (80 years – life) of Dustin Chauncey, who was charged with intentional abuse resulting in death were both awarded a 2016 Clarion Award. Most recently, Lisa is the winner of two 2018 Clarion Awards: for her television feature “How Accurate Is It?” and for her television investigative feature “Who’s Giving You A Massage?”. The Clarion Awards are presented by the Association for Women in Communications and will be formally awarded at the Clarion Awards ceremony at their National Conference this fall in St. Charles, Missouri.
