We will be recognizing the 2021 Clarion Award winners and finalists with another virtual event this year! Hosted by Teri Bower with appearances from AWC members and winners, all are welcome to register with winners and their guests given first priority for live attendance.

This event will be recorded and available to all.

About Teri Bower

Teri began her communications career at 8-years-old, tagging along with her disc jockey dad to record lines for commercials. She moved from radio to television after graduating from Stephen F. Austin State University in Nacogdoches, Texas with a B.A. in Journalism. Teri worked as a news reporter and anchor in Texas, Indiana, and her current home, Tulsa, Oklahoma.

Marriage and kids led to a career change from tv to tourism. Teri served as Communications Director, then COO/Executive Director of the Oklahoma Aquarium for 11 years. She has also consulted with sports venues, museums, and cities along popular travel routes.

Teri and her husband have two kids in college and two dogs who need better educations. When she’s not busy with the five of them, she enjoys photography, and sawing, sanding, hammering, painting, to stubbornly attempt to repair whatever is broken.
