Over the past few years, businesses have adopted social media as part of their overall marketing strategy. They recognized the need to be where their customers are and created profiles across Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn and YouTube. Some ventured into Pinterest, Google+ and even Snapchat.

But for many of those businesses, results have been mixed. Some question whether they are getting the ROI they feel warranted.

The success of your social media activity depends on how you outlined those in the first place. If your original goal was “just get our business on Facebook because everyone else is there,” you may not be seeing much in the way of results.

Chelsie Giller, AWC member, and social media coordinator for Folds of Honor, will present a social media refresher, “Is Social Media Working for You? Chelsie is a graduate from the Paul Miller School of Journalism at Oklahoma State University. She began her career in communications working for the PR firm, Schnake Turnbo Frank, before moving to Denver in December 2015. Four years later, she and her husband moved back to Tulsa and Chelsie started working for Folds of Honor.
