Jeanette Gass is Manager, Global Programs at the International Association for the Study of Pain (IASP) in Washington, DC where she is responsible for grant proposal writing, advocacy communications and programs, and digital strategy. She holds a Master of Arts in Global Communication from George Washington University and a Master of Science in Nonprofit & Association Management from University of Maryland University College. She received her Bachelor of Arts in International Studies from The University of Iowa with a focus in international communications.
Outside of work, she is the Secretary/ Treasurer for AWC DC Metro, volunteers as a Communications Advisor on the Chapter Excellence Board for Phi Sigma Pi National Honor Fraternity, and is a member of the International Associations Advisory Council for ASAE: The Center for Association Leadership. In 2019, she was named an ASAE NextGen Scholar and was named to Association Forum’s 2020 Forty Under 40 for her interest in and commitment to association management.
