Cash in your ticket for fun and a trip down memory lane at this year’s Night Out Event at Kansas City’s 1914 fully restored landmark—Union Station!

Your first stop is “ The Rail Experience,” an interactive journey through the exciting history of the American railroad.  From vintage cars to memorabilia displays, the rail experience will take you back in time to the days when trains were the status symbols of luxury and comfort. You will experience first-hand what it was like to be a train passenger during the glory days of the American railroad.

Your second stop on the night-out express will involve feasting on the cuisine that made Kansas City famous: barbecue. Bring an appetite and enjoy a genuine Kansas City barbecue complete with delectable trimmings.

Your third stop will enable you to experience Kansas City’s rich musical heritage with the big-band sounds of the Abel Ramirez Big Band. Led by noted Kansas City drummer Abel Ramirez, the 15-piece band will offer the toe-tapping tunes of Count Basie, Duke Ellington, Glenn Miller, Frank Sinatra and Dean Martin.
